The proposal =)

Friday May 12, 2010......aka......The best day of my life! =)

There i was out shopping with my mom looking at pretty stuff and just having a fun girls day when austin called me up which was kinda funny cause we played phone tag a little but finally i got a hold of him and he asked if he could steal me away for a little and i sure (of course) and mom had actually been wanting to go to the mall so i soon headed to austin's place.

When i got there i was only a couple steps away from my car when he came out with a huge grin and a tie in hand. He walked up to me said hi and then blind folded me. I was like, ooookaaaaay. Odd but i'll go along with it. So he led me over to his car and that was a little funny cause i am not the most graceful without my eyes =) haha But i made it by his safe lead. And then we drove and drove for like 20 mins and we talked like normal about our day and what we had been up to and how gorgeous the weather was. =)

After driving for awhile we arrived at the destination and he placed some hat on my head and said i could take the blind fold off. We were in Payson and i was wearing a cowboy hat =) He led me over to a stable where two horses were saddled and ready to go. We got on (after austin had to raise the stirrups a lot haha) and we rode off. Austin led us up right up the mountain. We walked, trotted, and galloped. It was so much fun to ride horses again. But i will say that i am still feeling the effects of riding.... yeah....

But anyways, =) we took this beautiful ride up this mountain with the sun shining and a gorgeous veiw. We had to hurry a little so that we didnt' miss the sunset so we hurried at some parts. We finally got to the top, or at least where austin wanted to stop and we got off our horses. Austin pulled off his backpack and laid down a blanket and then all of a sudden said that he had to go to the bathroom and i was like, "typical guy". Here we are at this romantic spot and all you have to say is that i have to go to the bathroom... Boys... So he went behind this huge boulder/hill but came back soon with a cooler in hand. He said i brought these for us... He had made steak that day and he brought plates and utensils and i was so excited to eat it.

And so i sat down, and was going to get ready to eat. But he then went and pulled some thing out of his bag and came over and kneeled down and said "i also brought this for you. Victoria..." And i just started screaming and laughing! =) I was hugging him and kissing him and then realized i had totally missed him saying it and leaned away from him and was like, "I didn't hear what you said but YES YES YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!!!!" And then i went back to hugging and kissing him. =) And then he finally got a chance to put the ring on my finger =) I was the happiest girl in the world!!! And i still am =)

After that we had to leave only after a couple bites of our yummy steak when we had to go so that we wouldn't miss the light so that we could get down the mountain. =) I was all grins down the mountain =) Even though we were only up there 15 minutes and didn't go exactly to plan it was perfect and i wouldn't have it any other way =) It was oh so perfect and i can't wait to marry the love of my life =)
