this morning...

well this day is already going swell. not. as soon as austin left i scurried off to the bathroom because i hadn't gone yet and when i came out becca was licking a plastic baggy. i rushed over and yup, she ate the contents of the bag. what was the contents you ask?? a brownie. yup, she ate the whole thing. i was furious and terrified because dogs are NOT suppose to eat chocolate.

Treatment includes induction of vomiting, as well as supportive IV fluid therapy. If seizures occur, Valium and Phenobarbital may need to be given. Antiarrthythmic drugs are also indicated for any heart arrhythmias. Since theobromine is eliminated very slowly in pets, treatment may need to be continued for up to a few days after ingestion. So yeah. I am a bit worried so i will be watching her carefully now for the nest couple days. at the moment she seems fine, sleeping and snoring on the couch.

well while i was dealing with the brownie situation not even 2 minutes later duke was puking up last nights dinner. ugh. really? i mean he couldn't wait till the middle of the day like he normally does?! ugh. so as i was going to the kitchen to get a paper towel to pick up the chunks of the puke i turn around and see becca over there eating it!!! ALKJDFOIWNUJEUNVJHUFRJU!!!!!!!!!!! STOP THAT BECCA!!! she has issues! nastyness! ugh! so i ran over and had to pull her away and then picked up the few remaining pieces she didnt eat. ugh.

well as you can tell the morning is going swell. a smooth sailing day i am sure is ahead of me. oh look the toilet is overflowing and the front door is falling over, and Oh look there! our electricity is out due to a downed pole. And theres the cockroaches that are moving in when i look away. yup. smooooooooooth sailing.

all i have to say is that if either of these dogs pee or puke in the house today i am freeing them into the wild and they can run with the coyotes. yup. i'm sticking to that today.
