Laptop problem...

So i got a virus on my computer from going to a random number generator for vegetation measurement. we need random numbers for most of our labs ad usually me and nicole just think of numbers randomly or if its 1:32pm we'll do 32 as a random number =) haha But this time i thought that we would do it the right way for once but of course the one random number generator online it gives my comp a NASTY VIRUS! My luck of course =) haha But thanks goodness to my amazing husband and Spyware Doctor we got it all taken care of =) It was pretty stressful during the moment. We had a presentation the next day and i couldn't use my laptop a all. But its better now =) Although, my comp is still a little slower since it happened and it isn't quite back to normal but it will be okay =)

Austin cut his hair...

Sad day everyone...well thursday i guess but still, sad day... austin cut his long-ish hair down to less than an inch. I miss his wavy goldness... =( But he still looks really good so if he's happy i'm happy =)

Still though...i miss his hair!!

It has been a long day, we went to:

(I think that's all...can't be sure though...)

Austin was a great sport and we got a couple good things but i can't reveal =) Its christmas time guys! Come on! I can't reveal what we got! =)

I did get a pointsetta plant though =) I am excited to put in our house =) Pretty christmas stuff!! =)

Thanksgiving!

This year we spent thanksgiving with the brewer family. It was very fun and interesting to observe the customs of another family. It was weird the first year i had thanksgiving with patrick and beki at the Franco house where there was rice on the table...hmmm...rice?! Thanksgiving?! Weird! But good thing i love rice! And then the following two years it was just normal to go to their house around 5 ish and watch the crazy loud family interact. Luckily beki's family is very friendly or it would have been awful. It was kinda weird to not be there with them this year. I felt like family!! haha =)

SO, while at the brewers I observed that while at the palmers house the football game is ALWAYS on. Before. During. and After the meal. It was all about the game for most guys. Neal, ryan and austin were sure into it. It was interesting to observe habits.

I had some pumpkin cake and apple crisp and that was really good. The pumpkin cake reminded me of home. Its been forEVER since i was home for thanksgiving. 4years!! Wow how time passes.

Later that night i did my ad sifting through to find the stores i wanted to go the next day. We also had a little adventure finding dog food for duke because we accidentally forgot some for duke and austin ended up wanting to stay the night. In the end we learned two things:
1. NO WHERE IS OPEN THANKSGIVING EVENING!! EVEN IF THEIR SIGN SAYS "WE'RE OPEN THANKSGIVING" Geeeeez!
and
2. Duke LOVES!!!!!!! turkey =) He had a down right feast of turkey!!

Lucky duke!! Good thing we don't have a vegetarian dog =) haha That would be quite amusing!

I really like sunflowers and i saw this one with the sunflower in the bottom right corner and thought this would make a cute fall background!

Too bad i have to change it soon to christmas-ness one. haha luck is not with me, neither is my brain.. haha

THE Hat =)

A couple weeks ago austin and i was at K-mart looking at the hunting gear cause there was a sale and we found this awesome backpack! The sale was buy one item and get the next 50% off and so of course we had to get another item. We were looking around and we found an awesome HAT!!! =) Once i saw it it was the one! =) Austin quickly agreed! He loved it too! And so i got my hat! =)

It has come in handy the past couple days!! We went up provo canyon to vivian park and up hobble creek canyon and when we would get out i would put on my awesome hat! It keeps my ears warm and my head warm! It reminds me of my mom and how she would always make us wear hats and tell me to make sure my ears are covered because i am prone to ear infections. Oh my mommy! =)
